Experience:

Why does grind size matter? Explore the journey from whole bean to cup with Mission Grounds Coffee in a relaxed, conversational tasting and brewing experience. 🌎

You’ll explore three different grind styles and how they pair with specific brewing methods:

• Fine Grind: Discover why a finer grind works well with concentrated brewing methods such as the Moka Pot.

• Medium Grind: Follow a live pour-over preparation while learning about water temperature, coffee-to-water ratio, bloom, pouring technique, and extraction.

• Fresh-Ground Espresso: Learn why freshly ground beans are ideal for espresso-based drinks, including lattes and other espresso beverages.

The tasting brings the process down to four simple steps: Look. Smell. Taste. Finish. Pay attention to the appearance, aromas, flavors, and lingering finish of each cup. 👃

Presented by Chef Marques Clark of YES CHEF VILLAGE, Inc., this experience brings together coffee education, culinary storytelling, and a deeper appreciation for the craft behind every cup.

Ready to discover what your grind is really doing to your coffee? Reserve your tasting ticket and experience the difference for yourself. With limited tasting portions and an intimate format, advance registration is recommended.
