3. Work by GAS conference presenters at the Chihuly Collection
Only the best of the best get to present at major conferences like GAS. This is why we highly recommend seeing the GAS conference presenters’ work at the Chihuly Collection. There is a small admission fee here — $19.95 GA — but you’ll get to see blown glass, cast glass, and lit installation at this show (free for those with a GAS conference pass). 4. The MIT glass band playing instruments made of glass at the Chihuly Collection
Here’s one more reason to visit the Chihuly Collection Friday night: The MIT glass band is performing. 5. The unveiling of James Brenner’s ON EDGE at SE corner of 16th St. & Central Ave.
Brenner made 10 sculptures of glass and steel to mark and beautify St. Pete’s EDGE district. See them unveiled across the street from Leslie Curran Gallery, 6-7:30 p.m. Afterwards, head to Leslie Curran Gallery for the gallery reception and an exhibition of Brenner’s work. 6. Glass Masters Stephen Pon & Richard Logan at Florida CraftArt
Quest: Celebration of Glass is at Florida CraftArt through Apr. 20. This themed show, curated by Duncan McClellan and Mary Childs, is all about the journey. Go during the gallery hop for a chance to meet artists Stephen Pon and Richard Logan, and to see their work. It’s free! 8. Glass art from Tampa Bay area artists at Imagine Museum

Gott Glass will be open in Tampa during the gallery hop, but if you’re in St. Pete, where most of the GAS conference action is, you can see an exhibition of Susan Gott’s work at Red Cloud Indian Arts.
