FLIGHT & ILLUSION

WELCOME TO IMAGINE MUSEUM
YOUR GATEWAY TO THE WORLD OF GLASS ART

Flight and Illusion

Trish Duggan

The “Flight and Illusion” series by Trish Duggan was explicitly made for the Imagine Museum exhibition at the Tampa International Airport.  The aircraft from the F14, Millennium Falcon from Star Wars, and even the Crew Dragon from Space X aligned with the various bird species communicate the reality of flight in our world from the illusion of our dreams.

Peter Borkovics

The Wheel of Time, 2016

Hungary

Peter Borkovics first became interested in glass because it begins as a liquid. His geometrical, striped elements are simple prisms from the outside. The continuous, parallel stripes symbolize a harmony of nature and the eternal circle of time.
Peter Bremers

Koudvuur. 2016

The Netherlands

Dutch-born artist Peter Bremers is known for his cast glass sculptures inspired by nature’s most extreme landscapes, based on his worldwide travels. The piece Koudvuur takes inspiration from his trips to Antarctica.
