BECOME AN ART DETECTIVE

Price: $5 per student
Group Size: Minimum 10 students, Maximum 40
Days offered: Tuesday – Friday
Times offered: 10am- 2pm (tour lasts 1½ hours)
** Students may be accompanied by up to 6 adult chaperones for FREE. Additional adults and chaperones can join for $10 per person.

Unleash your inner art detective with our “Become an Art Detective” tour! This interactive journey is designed to enhance students’ critical thinking and visual literacy skills. Students will explore the world of contemporary glass art, share stories about the artwork, and discover how their unique perspectives influence the narrative behind the art.

Imagine Museum’s Art Safari – The History of Italian Glass in 5 Hats

Suitable for students in 4th grade and up.
Join us for an entertaining and enlightening 45-60 minute performance as we guide you through the history of Italian glass in “5 Hats.” This is no ordinary passive viewing; it’s an interactive storytelling experience where students actively participate, deepening their understanding of the layered history of glass.

Imagine Museum’s Art Safari – How it’s Made
Price: $5 per student

Suitable for students in 4th grade and up.
Ever wondered how glass art is created? Embark on a captivating, hands-on journey into the world of glass art with our guide, Judi! Learn about the techniques used in glasswork, and get the chance to experience them firsthand using simple household items. This educational adventure brings the art of glasswork to life while making learning accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Craft – Grades K & Up
Price: $3 per student

Engage in a creative crafting session suitable for students from kindergarten and up, allowing them to express their artistic talents and create their own glass art pieces.

Take-home Box of Marbles
Price: $5 per student

Delight in a starter set of marbles in a retro-inspired box, complete with assorted marbles, a cotton bag, and a leaflet filled with marble information and games to play.

Any major changes in group size or cancellation must be made five days prior to the arranged date.
On the day of your visit, please check in with one of our associates at the ticketing counter at the time of your scheduled visit.
