Imagine Museum is proud to be hosting the Corning Museum Mobile Hot Shop on our property for the 2019 GAS Conference taking place in St. Petersburg, FL. We want to share this momentous event with our community, prior to the start of the Conference, the team at the Corning Museum Mobile Hot Shop will be working with us creating an exciting evening of Glass demonstrations and camaraderie. Richard Jolley, one of our top artists in the Museum, will start the evening off with a hot glass demo followed by our own “St. Pete All Stars” on an Exquisite Corpse Demo. Make your plans now to attend!
Exquisite Corpse – Headed up by Jeremiah Jacobs, The Exquisite Corpse Demo is based on the classic art game and created by a select team of local glassblowers. Each member of the team creates a fun and unique sculptural element and these elements combine to make a colorful collaborative torso. This collective of artists, AKA “ The St. Pete All-Stars” have worked together on multiple corpses over the last two years and are practiced in the art of chaos and fun. Animals, plants, robots, sea life, cartoons, and more are all up for grabs in this demonstration of skill and teamwork.
Wednesday, March 27 6:30 – 9:30 pm Light appetizers, beer, wine and soft drinks will be served. $25 Seating is limited, so make your plans today! Open to the public and GAS Badge holders.

Titanium, LED lights, and transparent mirrors takes you into a universal and transcendental world of wonder. The historical cosmology of Plato and the silhouette of Francesco Borromini’s dome for Sant’lvo in Rome is the inspiration for this overwhelming piece of art at Imagine Museum.
