In celebration of our Member Appreciation Weekend, Imagine Museum is pleased to present local artisan Melanie Cech for a special Trunk Show. Cech is a self-taught, flamework glass sculpture artist and has been working with boro glass since the age of 19. Using a torch, glass, natural stones, corals, and gold, she is able to create designs that are unique and collectible. She is known for her sea life sculpture and jewelry, including her signature Nautilus designs. She has owned and operated retail locations in the Virgin Islands, has displayed her work at over 50 + art shows in Florida.
The Museum will also host family activities for our 2nd Saturday ARTcart. (Standard Admission applies.)

Raised in Melbourne Beach, Florida, Fahan Sky McDonagh is an artist and educator specializing in glass. She creates sculpture, prints, photography, installation and jewelry using many techniques, and says she intuitively responds to observations found in nature and translates that emotional connection to space. Central themes in her work are time, impermanence and place.

The Fall Flame Festival is a fun and special day for glass enthusiasts of all ages. Activities include:
• On-site glass art making demonstrations showcasing the process of glass torch artistry.
• The adventurous can create their own flamework glass pendant in a glass workshop (limited availability: RSVP to reserve: https://bit.ly/2JI9jB7).
• Plenty of art making activities and games for families to create, play, and enjoy a day together.
• A glass artist will lead informative gallery tours to explain the techniques and skills required to create museum-quality masterpieces.
• For collectors, a special selection of regional artists will have pieces available to purchase.
